during transitional times in the inner and outer worlds, objects can become wayfinders for understanding and coming into relationship with ourselves and our place in the world. The multiple layering of slip and engobes made from wild clays gathered near my home in north glasgow gives each piece the appearance of ancient artefacts or natural surfaces found in nature.
